Background:

I am happy to present 2024 Executive Committee nominations on behalf of the current SCH Executive Committee. We are delighted to welcome back several former EC members in old and new roles. 

In past years, we have held the executive committee election at the annual meeting and dinner. However not all members are able to attend in person. We would like to give the full membership an opportunity to vote online, moving slowly but surely into the 21st century! 

Please take a moment to vote on the 2024 Executive Committee nominations through the link below.

The updated 2024 membership book will be available at the annual meeting and will reflect the results of the vote. If you are unable to attend the annual meeting we will mail the new membership book to you via snail mail.

Dog Vote/Poll

We should all be pleased with the level of engagement, 50 of 68 SCH members voted, that is 74%.

While not 100% I feel this is pretty damn good! When was the last time we were able to corral 50 of our members.

Reminders

  1. Please attend the Fall work weekend on November 4-5

  2. Invoices will be going out soon for the 2024 annual dues. It's important that you pay this promptly before the end of December 2023.

  3. Invitations to our annual meeting will be sent to you in November. The annual meeting/dinner is scheduled for Tuesday December 5th and will be held at the Tavern Club in Boston. The speaker will be William Lynn Executive Director of the Herreshoff Marine Museum. It is our hope that you respond affirmatively and come to the annual meeting/dinner.
